ROSA NUTKANA, Nootka Rose 1 gallon

Best in full sun or partial shade. Reaches 4′, single pink flowers, 2″ across, usually in early summer, followed by orange rosehips in fall. Habitat is open meadows, stream sides, thickets. Flower petals can be used for jellies, sachets, etc. The hips are a good source or vitamin A and C. Can be dried or ground. Used in syrups powders, pills and for a variety of other nutritional uses.
