Description
Bluebunch Wheatgrass can often be distinguished from other bunchgrasses by the awns on its seed heads which stand out at an angle nearly 90 degrees from the stem. It is often bluish in color. The forage value of Bluebunch Wheatgrass is excellent for cattle and horses, good for sheep, elk, and deer. It cures well and makes good standing winter feed.
