Description
Yellow centered white, pink or blue blooms May-June sit atop thin stems with very fine, thread-like leaves. Commonly found in the wild growing with Sagebrush, well suited for a dry prairie scenario or rock garden. Native Americans drank a concoction of tea from the Threadleaf Fleabane for general illness, backache and cracked bones. Leaves were chewed for a sore throat, spit on wounds or toasted and/or mashed to be used as a salve for pain and swelling.
