Description

To 3′ with an extensive root system, excellent addition to a native seed mix for stabilizing ditch banks, dikes and roadsides.  Very similar to Blue Bunch Wheatgrass, the Snake River variety was a selection made near Lewiston, Idaho and found along the canyons of “the Snake” in Northeast Oregon, Southeast Washington and West-central/Northern Idaho.  Palatable to all classes of livestock and wildlife with proteins as high as 20% in the spring.
